Wie kann ich ein Side-Scrolling-Hintergrundbild einrichten?

Ich möchte, dass meine Tapete eine Seitenrolle von Super Mario World Yoshi's Island 1 ist. Sobald das Hintergrundbild vollständig durchlaufen war, würde es nahtlos zum Anfang zurückkehren.

Gibt es ein Programm oder XML, das das für mich erreichen würde? Ich verwende GNOME Shell.

Update 10/22/16

Das Skript wurde aktualisiert, um den Anforderungen in dieser Frage zu entsprechen: Link

Übergang und Dauer wurden optional gemacht und hatten Standardwerte. -s Option wird auch hinzugefügt, um die Größe der Hintergrundbilder zu ändern (wie Kachel, Skalieren, Stretch-Optionen aus den Systemeinstellungen).

Genau wie ich in den Kommentaren gesagt habe, müsstest du das Bild in gleich große oder überlappende Teile schneiden und eine Diashow dafür erstellen. Ich kenne die Lizenz für dieses bestimmte Bild nicht, das du willst, also überlasse ich es dir, es zu schneiden ( Tipp ).

Hier ist jedoch ein animiertes Wallpaper-Generator-Skript, das ich geschrieben habe. Die Verwendung ist sehr einfach. Wie von -h -Option angezeigt:

usage: xml_wallpaper_maker.py [-h] -d DIRECTORY -t TRANSITION -l LENGTH [-o]
